THE THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT 27 February 2005 Eucharistic Prayer A will be used at Holy
Communion Services today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or on
the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of
all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar
rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. We pray this week for
Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for our Churchwardens and PCC as they
try to discern God’s plan for the future of the parish and plans for the
appointment of a new Rector for our Church
Crèches, Sunday Schools, Pathfinder and Young People’s Fellowship groups and
for Little Fishes & Chuckles toddler groups, for all who attend them and
for all who help to run them for the United Society for the
Propagation of the Gospel (and especially Andrew and Janice Proud working in
Addis Ababa) for those who are preparing for
Confirmation for Lydia Jane Sayle & Zoe Hannah
Bonnett being baptised today at All Saints’ and for their parents and
godparents. for the lonely, the anxious, the
bereaved; and amongst the sick for
Michael Taylor, Pamela Christmas, Martin Judd, Judith Hill, Jenny Cracknell,
Christine Tucker, Joanne Smith, Bob Essery, Alan Cox, Douglas Hartley, Giles
Higgins, Edna Campkin, May Kempster for those who have died
recently: Michael Buchanan, Baby
Nikola Draper and at their anniversaries pray for:
Barney Blackley We give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially
the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At All Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in

Peter's. CRB VETTING – by law, any person supervising or involved with
children’s activities needs to be vetted by the Criminal Records Bureau. A register of all those who have already
been vetted is now displayed in both churches. If you take part in any activities involving children in either
St Peter’s or All Saints’ and are not on the register, please
