Services today We welcome
all who worship here today. If you
are a newcomer please speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the
clergy. We invite you to complete a
card which you will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church,
and hand it to one of the welcomers.
Communicant members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy
Communion. If you are not receiving
Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so
the minister knows We pray this week for
Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for our Churchwardens and PCC as they
try to discern God’s plan for the future of the parish and plans for the
appointment of a new Rector for Geoffrey Tristram of the Society
of St John the Evangelist and for all those who are living in a Religious
Community for the
work of the Church Army for the lonely, the anxious, the
bereaved; and amongst the sick for
Michael Taylor, Pamela Christmas, Martin Judd, Judith Hill, James Woodstock,
Jenny Cracknell, Christine Tucker, Joanne Smith, Bob Essery, Alan Cox,
Douglas Hartley, Giles Higgins, Doris Williams for those who have died
recently: Nicholas Pears We give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially
the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At All Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in

there will be an extraordinary meeting of the PCC 8.00pm Thursday
20 January in All Saints’ Lower Hall to discuss the future of the
Parish. NEXT SERVICE OF WHOLENESS AND HEALING is
8.00pm tomorrow Monday 10 January in the Lady Chapel at St

DISASTER APPEAL last
Sunday raised £1,444 in St Peter's and £1,325 in All Saints. There is another opportunity to make a

ago you will be very welcome to join us.
