THE SECOND BEFORE ADVENT - Remembrance 14 November 2004 Eucharistic Prayer E will be used at Holy
Communion Services today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of
all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar
rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: God, our refuge and strength, bring near the day when wars shall cease and poverty and pain shall end, that earth may know the peace of heaven through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN Readings:

Gracious Lord, in this holy sacrament you give substance to our
hope: bring us at the last to that
fullness of life for which we long;
through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and Richard his suffragans for our Churchwardens and PCC as they
try to discern God’s plan for the future of the parish and plans for the
appointment of a new Rector for Geoffrey Tristram of the Society of
St John the Evangelist and for all those who are living in a Religious
Community for the work of the Church Army for the lonely, the anxious, the
bereaved; and amongst the sick for
Michael Taylor, Pamela Christmas,
Martin Judd, Mavis Haile, James Woodstock, Jenny Cracknell, Christine Tucker,
Joanne Smith, Bob Essery, Alan Cox for those who have died
recently: Ruth Pike and at their anniversaries pray
for: Bernard Quarmby, Ernest Salter We give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially
the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron. At All Saints’ the weekly prayers are for everyone who lives in
