THE SIXTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY 18 July 2004 Eucharistic Prayer B will be used at the 9.30am at St Peter’s today We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or
on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of
all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar
rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows. Collect: Creator God, you made us all in your image: may we discern you in all that we see, and serve you in all that we do; through Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN Readings:

Colossians 1:15-28 Luke 10: 38-42 Post Communion: God of our pilgrimage,
you have led us to the living water: refresh and sustain us as we go forward
on our journey, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN We pray this week for Christopher our Bishop and for Christopher and
Richard his suffragans for all the
schools in the parish; their
staff, pupils and governors; and our special responsibilities towards
Victoria First School and Thomas Coram Middle School. for the

Walden & Alison Blackmore being married at St Peter’s this week. for the
lonely, the anxious, the bereaved;
and amongst the sick for Judith Hill, Michael Taylor, Brenda Quarmby,

School Centenary Hall. An evening of
Music and conversation with guest speaker Henry Olonga, Zimbabwean
International Cricketer All Saints’ Sunday School: During the school holidays,
since there will be no Sunday school, it is hoped that the children will have
the opportunity to withdraw for a story time for part of the service. Parents can, of course, use the area set
aside for the children in the North Aisle, where books and soft toys will be
available. FR MARK’S INSTALLATION as Canon Treasurer of Salisbury Cathedral is to
be at Evensong 3.00pm Sunday 12 September and if you are interested in taking
