THE SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER                            23 May 2004

Eucharistic Prayer E may be used at Holy Communion Services today

We welcome all who worship here today.   If you are a newcomer please speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.   We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the welcomers.   Communicant members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion.   If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.        

Collect
:  Risen, ascended Lord, as we rejoice at your triumph, fill your Church on earth with power and compassion, that all who are estranged by sin may find forgiveness and know your peace, to the glory of God the Father.   AMEN

:  Eternal God, giver of love and power, your Son Jesus Christ has sent us into all the world to preach the gospel of his kingdom:  confirm us in this mission, and help us to live the good news we proclaim;  through Jesus Christ our Lord.      AMEN

We give thanks for our communion with all the Saints, especially the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Peter our patron.

OUTWARD GIVING 2003  Thank you letters and acknowledgements received have been collected and placed in a ring binder.  This is now on display in St Peter’s

REMINDER  Please remember that at St Peter’s we only have a car park after 6.30pm on weekdays so please do not park in what is otherwise the NCH car park on a weekday.

SECURITY at our two churches  If you are passing either church during the day do please go in at any time and especially in a holiday period, in the lunch hour or in the late afternoon, when the open door can welcome our less well-intentioned visitors.
