news for pews

THE THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT 14 March 2004
Eucharistic Prayer A may be used at Holy Communion Services today
We welcome all who worship here
today. If you are a newcomer please
speak to one of the welcomers or to one of the clergy. We invite you to complete a card which you
will find in your pew, or on the table near the door of the church, and hand it
to one of the welcomers. Communicant
members of all Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please
come to the altar rail for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.
Collect: Eternal God, give us insight to discern your will for us, to give up what harms us, and to seek the perfection we are promised in Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
Readings: Isaiah 55:1-9 1 Corinthians 10:1-13

hearts and minds to follow you, the only God;
through Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN
