THE
PARISH OF BERKHAMSTED St
Peter’s with All Saints’ |
News for pews
THE SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER 27 April 2003
Eucharistic Prayer E is
being used at Holy Communion Services today
We welcome all who worship here today. If you are a newcomer please speak to one
of the welcomers or to one of the clergy.
We invite you to complete a card which you will find in your pew, or on
the table near the door of the church, and hand it to one of the
welcomers. Communicant members of all
Churches are welcome to receive Holy Communion. If you are not receiving Communion please come to the altar rail
for a blessing and carry a book so the minister knows.
Collect: Risen Christ, for whom no door is locked, no heart is closed: open the doors of our compassion, that we may seek the good of others and walk the joyful road of sacrifice and peace, to the praise of God the Father. AMEN
Readings: Acts
4.32-35 1 John 1.1 – 2.2 John 20.19-end
Post Communion: Lord God our Father; through
our Saviour Jesus Christ you have assured your children of eternal life and in
baptism have made us one with him:
deliver us from the death of sin and raise us to new life in your love,
in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, by the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ. AMEN
We pray this week

Richard his suffragans

them and for all who help to run them
